Monday

On Monday I had to go to Hampton Court for my English Palaces and Country Houses class. Hayley & Amanda wanted to come so we took the tube to Waterloo station, and then took a train to the English countryside. It was so beautiful!

I really enjoyed Hampton Court. The Tudor building was originally constructed for Cardinal Wolsey, and then was taken over by King Henry VIII. After being abandoned over 200 years, King William III and Mary II built their own addition onto the palace that is the baroque section. I enjoyed the extravagant gardens especially, which were modeled after Versailles.















After Hampton Court, we got back to Regent's and had a quick dinner, and then went to the musical Sister Act! I LOVED the musical- it was almost as good as Wicked.
