Prague!!!

Prague was an such an experience! I really loved seeing how pretty and clean the city was. I went on two tours, one of the entire city and tourist spots on Saturday, and on Sunday a tour of the Castle and hill area. It was fascinating learning about the history of Prague and what made it the city it is today. I found the Czech Republic to be cold and not very welcoming, and the people were not friendly to me. I am not sure if it was because I was American and didn't speak Czech or German...But overall I had a great time. This was the first country I have traveled to while here where I didn't speak the native language which made me really appreciate how fortunate I am to be studying abroad in the amazing London.

While I was there Alyssa, Liz and I met up with a few of our friends from UNH who are studying abroad who just happened to be there the same weekend as us. We had a blast going out together and catching up.

Overall, I liked Prague and thought it was one of the most beautiful and cultural cities I have ever been to.

View from the airplane on our way there- so cold and snowy outside in the country!!!

Castle at night

Yummy dough bread

Beautiful view from the Charles Bridge

John Lenin Wall - peace & love

Church

Astronomical Clock

Theater in Prague where Mozart FIRST performed Don Giovanni

A statue dedicated to Mozart's Don Giovanni Opera (the statue is the ghost of the main characters father) and the inside of the statue is actually empty! Very creepy and ominous

Bohemian Bagel, where we at every meal! So yummy.

This bridge is dedicated to couples who get engaged- they go and put a lock on the bridge signifying their love and throw the key in the river...

Liz and I on top of the world

Yes, on our tour we went to a Monk Brewery, where they make all of their beer. I guess the church in Prague likes to drink! The beer was OK...

Mozarts House

Palace Gates
