Spring Break - Amsterdam!

Amsterdam was such a great experience for me to go to! When we arrived we went to the hotel and checked in, which was in a great square in town. We all went to the Anne Frank House- I enjoyed looking around but was deeply saddened also. After the Anne Frank House we went out to lunch and walked along some canals. We ended the day at the Van Gough museum which was so cool! I saw many famous paintings and artworks done by the famous artist.

The next day we all did a 15 MILE long bike tour of the Amsterdam countryside. This was by far my favorite part of Amsterdam because we got to bike all throughout the waterways in the farm areas, try cheese at a local dairy and Dutch wooden shoe farm, and see the many parks. Afterwords Sarah and I went to the Heineken Factory while the other girls went on another bike tour of the city of Amsterdam.

In our last day in Amsterdam we checked out of the hotel and went to a restaurant called the Pancake House, which served delicious crepe-like pancake. I had a banana and Nuttella pancake that was to die for.

I loved Amsterdam and thought it was so pretty, full of life, and a place I would definitely love to go back to and explore further!
